Finished with the same eye for detail, the Paulette dining room chair is a perfect match with Marie Michielssen's Virginia table. Marie departed from an elliptical seat for Paulette, which gives the chair its very own expression. The back follows the curve of the ellipse and allows multiple sitting positions, from just upright at the table, to a more sideways, relaxed pose, one arm resting loosely on the backrest. The chair is made of ash wood, in 4 colours: stained in ebony black like the table, but also lacquered in a warm shade of ocher, deep green or ivory, colors inspired by nature.
