Surface by Sergio Herman
The Surface collection takes inspiration from Sergio Herman’s homeland of Zeeland, in The Netherlands – a series of small islands in a constant contest with the ocean, with a landscape etched by tides and flood surges. The materials, colours and glazing techniques interpret the region’s raw nature and unique topography, from its jagged coastlines to its pale sandy dunes, rich green pastures and dark tranquil lakes.
The Surface tableware collection is available in an extensive range of sizes, including side plates, main plates, bowls, serving dishes, jugs, beakers, and cups and saucers, in three complimentary flecked colour glazes that can work as a set or when mixed: Camo Green with earth fleck, Rusty Brown with orange fleck, and a deep Indi Grey with sand fleck.
